Building Codes & Permits
The Building Department is responsible for all aspects of construction within the Town of Binghamton, both commercial and residential. This includes fences, pools, generators, plumbing, patios, and decks. The Inspector ensures that the construction is performed within the guidelines of the Town of Binghamton Code and the New York State Building and Fire Code.
Certificates of Occupancy or Compliance are issued when construction has been completed and inspected.
It's always a good idea to call before you stop in. Appointments are preferred.
