“MUNICIPAL CLEANUP DAYS”: Fri., 4/26 & Sat., 4/27/24

The Town of Binghamton will be holding “Municipal Cleanup Days” on Friday, April 26, 2024, from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. and Saturday, April 27, 2024, from 9 a.m. until 2 p.m.

A SPECIAL ELECTRONICS DROP OFF WILL BE HELD ON FRIDAY ONLY, 4/26/24, FROM 9 a.m. TO NOON.

This is a great opportunity to get rid of your junk for free!  

Items can be dropped off (YOU MUST UNLOAD) at the Town of Binghamton Town Hall at 279 Park Avenue.

THIS IS FOR TOWN OF BINGHAMTON RESIDENTS ONLY; NOT CITY RESIDENTS.  PROOF OF RESIDENCY (DRIVERS LICENSE) IS REQUIRED.

ITEMS ACCEPTED:

NEW FOR SPRING 2024 — Air conditioners and dehumidifiers are on the accepted electronics list! 
ELECTRONICS include:  air conditioners, dehumidifiers, TVs, computers, laptops, printers, fax machines, cell phones, radios, stereos, VCRs, GPS units, gaming consoles, and more.  (NO SPEAKERS.)

NON-ELECTRONICS include:
TIRES WITH OR WITHOUT RIMS:  $1 per tire (unlimited).  CASH ONLY.  NO LARGE TRUCK TIRES.
WHITE GOODS:  washers, dryers, water heaters, stoves, etc.
METAL ITEMS:   There will be a separate dumpster for all metal items.  (Microwaves are metal items.)
FURNITURE including cabinets
MISCELLANEOUS HOUSEHOLD TRASH (household items from cleaning out your basement, garage, etc.) including:  MATTRESSES & BOX SPRINGS, MICROWAVES (considered metal item), DISASSEMBLED HOT TUBS, CARPETS, MIRRORS, TOILETS, CLOTHING, POWER WASHERS, PALLETS, FENCE POSTS, SCREEN DOORS, WIRE FENCING, TOYS, ETC. 

ITEMS NOT ALLOWED:
NO REFRIGERATORS!
NO FREEZERS!
NO YARD WASTE OR LEAVES!
NO CHEMICALS!
NO PAINTS!
NO CONSTRUCTION DEBRIS!
NO FOOD ITEMS!
NO SPEAKERS!
