ONGOING: Now Is The Time For Eligible TOB Property Owners To Apply For Grant Money!

Applications will continue to be accepted until all funds have been committed.  As long as this post remains on our website, it means funds are still available and applications are still being accepted.

The Town of Binghamton was recently awarded a Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) from New York State.  The funds from this grant will be used to rehabilitate substandard, single-family, owner occupied properties located within the boundaries of the Town of Binghamton.  Occupants must be low-to-moderate in income, as per the table below, and the property must be in need of repairs.  Other requirements apply.

The type of rehabilitation work includes, but may not be limited to:  Electric, Plumbing, Heating, Roofing, Windows & Doors, Roofing, Insulation, Masonry, Painting, Flooring, Interior/Exterior Carpentry, etc.
